HMRC are looking to change how they work with accountants. Under new proposals HMRC will place much more trust in accountants who know what they’re doing (you’d be surprised at how many don’t!).

As you would expect they’ll be closely monitoring accountants performance and will be far more likely to launch investigations into the clients of accountants who are under performing.

So, to avoid an increased risk of tax enquiries, and all the stress and sleepless nights they bring, make sure you’ve an accountant you trust to get things right.
