We’re delighted to announce some great enhancements to our DocSafe service allowing you easy approvals on your mobile and SMS reminders (if you want) when documents are uploaded.
We’ve now been using DocSafe for several years and it has helped to revolutionise how we deliver documents to you securely and conveniently for you to approve.
We’ve processed over 21,000 documents that would once have had to be posted out to you (and back again to us!)
It’s also worth remembering that DocSafe is encrypted and far more secure than email. If you are sending us sensitive data then please think about uploading it to DocSafe rather than emailing it to us.
Here’s some of the new features and a refresher of some of the ones already there.
Most people only log into DocSafe when they get an email to say there’s something to approve. But you can log in at anytime to see information that we’ve uploaded. Just go to our website and click on Docsafe in the top corner.
Once you’re logged in look for the three folders ‘Upload’ ‘Folders’ and ‘Settings’
Upload – this will let you upload documents to us. You could use it to send us your spreadsheet or save a backup to.
Folders – here’s where you’ll find everything that we have previously uploaded. Need a copy of your accounts? Or a reminder of how much tax to pay? Then take a look here.
Settings – Information that we upload to DocSafe is usually pretty important stuff so our new version now allows you to choose whether you’d like to be notified that there’s something new by SMS, Email or both.
New Mobile Functions
Our new DocSafe is much more mobile friendly. To access DocSafe on your smartphone just follow these steps.
Log in to DocsSafe by clicking on the padlock in the top right hand corner.
The proceed through the next screen…
…Before logging in. You can save your details to make it quicker next time.
Finally, you can save the site by clicking on the square with the arrow and then choosing ‘Add to Home Screen’. You’ll now have an icon on your phone so you can log straight in next time.
