Four questions you must ask your Xero Accountant

It’s a recognition that we are leading the way for Xero in Liverpool.
But having Xero Gold status is only part of the story. To be truly useful to our clients we make sure that we live and breathe using Xero… something that not all advisors do.
Here’s some things you should ask your accountant if you are planning to use Xero in your business.
1. Are you certified by Xero? When was your last certification? Show me the certificate!
Good Xero advisers will make sure they keep up to date and sit refresher exams each year.
2. How many staff are certified?
Firms that are serious about Xero will have lots of trained staff – not just the ‘Xero person in the office’. At Jonathan Ford & Co we’ve 10 staff have passed their Xero exams together with migration specialists and payroll specialists.
3. Do you attend Xerocon?
Each year Xero runs an annual 2 day training and update course in London. Firms that are serious about Xero make sure they’re in the room. We attend each year and here’s Jonathan catching up with Gary Turner, MD of Xero UK.
4. Do you use Xero yourself and what addons do you use?
